Participants in this course will become certified as an American Red Cross Babysitter with Pediatric First Aid and CPR; this certificate is valid for two years and is available for anyone ages 11 to 16. Participants will learn how to have fun caring for young children as well as how to respond to sudden illness using first aid. Participants will also develop skills to build a resume, start a babysitting business, and communicate with parents. Pizza lunch and snacks will be provided.
